Success is not defined by who has or owns the most. The Gail Devers Foundation, Inc. offers a scholarship program to youth seeking higher education which enables them to be competitive in the job market. The scholarship program was launched in June of 2000 providing monetary assistance estimating nearly $5,000 to qualified recipients. The inaugural participating school was Sweetwater Union High School in National City, CA where three recipients were chosen. In the future, through corporate sponsors, the Gail Devers Foundation, Inc., will distribute scholarships in schools throughout the country.

At the heart of the organization is the “Holiday of Cheer” program. This program was implemented to serve as the first building block for the foundation. Through the “Holiday of Cheer” program the Gail Devers Foundation, Inc. adopts families in need during the holiday season and provides them with food, clothing, gifts and an opportunity to enhance their lives. Each adopted family is then entered into the foundation’s database of programs which will aid them in their continued desire for success.
