One
of the most vital programs under development is “Read to Achieve”.
This program will help youth and adults learn to read so they
can achieve success. Volunteering educators will donate their
time and efforts tutoring program participants in accomplishing
successful reading skills. Computers will be provided to those
needing to expand into other areas of education.
FAMILY
& GROUP SOCIAL INTERACTION
The
performing arts adds a cultural awareness that opens individuals
minds to a whole new realm. The Gail Devers Foundation partners
with other organizations to provide access for a variety of
exhibitions, classes and performances. A performing arts experience
provides both cultural and educational benefits for the whole
family. The Family & Group Social Interaction program is
designed to give families who otherwise would not be able to
afford the cost, an opportunity to attend and participate in
various activities. Our goal is to provide at least one activity
per month.
